ABSTRACT
The uses of 1,2,3-trichloropropane include: in dissolving of low water soluble substances such as resins, oils, and waxes; as a cleaning and degreasing agent; as a cleaning and maintenance reagent; as a paint and varnish remover; chemical intermediate in production of polysulfane liquid polymers and dichloropropene; in the synthesis of hexa-fluoro-propylene; and as a cross-linking agent in the synthesis of polysulfides.
