ABSTRACT
The uses of antimony include: flame proofing in textiles and plastics; component of pigments, ceramics, paints, glassware, antiparasitic drugs; and as an alloy in ammunition, bearing metals, and lead storage batteries. Antimony exists as one of two valence states in its compounds: trivalent (III) or pentavalent (V) antimony.
