ABSTRACT
The uses of boron include: primarily in the production of glass and glass products such as textiles and insulating fiberglass; production of enamels and glazes used as coatings on household and industrial products; and in herbicides, insecticides, soaps, cleaners, cosmetics, antifreeze, and leather tanning.
