ABSTRACT
Carbamate pesticides are reversible acetylcholinesterase inhibitors which have a shorter duration of action and in general are less toxic than organophosphate pesticides. The uses of carbamate pesticides include: as agricultural insecticides; and as a component of dusting powder, flea collars, and shampoos for pets.
