ABSTRACT
2-acetylaminofluorene was initially intended to be used as a pesticide, but was never marketed since it was found to be a carcinogen. It is only distributed by companies that deal with specialty chemicals. The primary use of 2-acetylaminofluorene today is in research and laboratory facilities.
