ABSTRACT
The uses of ethylene glycol monomethyl ether (EGME) include: as a industrial solvent, as an anti-icing additive in jet fuel (JP-4 fuels contain approximately 0.1 to 0.2% EGME), in the manufacture of circuit boards, as an intermediate in the manufacturing of plasticizers, and as a component of inks and coatings, and photography and dyeing applications.
