Chlorinated hydrocarbon pesticides can be separated into three classes: dichloro-diphenylethanes, cyclodienes, and chlorinated benzenes/cyclohexanes. Hexachlorobenzene (HCB) is in the chlorinated benzenes/cyclohexanes class.
