ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with the most frequently used control charts for measurements. It discusses and compares the control charts for averages, ranges and standard deviations. The chapter presents a table that lists several convenient populations with which to experiment. These populations are the same, approximately normal distributions as were extensively used in the famous War Production Board courses in quality control by statistical methods.
