ABSTRACT
Recently one of the authors attended an annual luncheon for retirees of his former company. He was struck by the appearance and demeanor of all the retirees who had departed the company within the last six to eight months. They all looked healthy, more relaxed, and happy than he had ever seen them. Some of these people had spent most of their work lives in offices; others in warehouses and manufacturing plants. There was no distinction between them.
