ABSTRACT
Toxicology is a science that has evolved over the last several years. New concepts and theories are being developed and implemented into clinical practice. However, there is one basic concept that does remain fairly constant: certain principles of toxicology do not change. Principles are rules for action, basic concepts, or reasons why certain procedures are undertaken. Principles also form the foundation of a science.
