ABSTRACT
The eye is susceptible to damage from low intensity levels of laser light. In this chapter we will present considerable information to ensure that personnel working in a laser environment understand the criteria in selecting eye protective devices. In addition, several myths will be attacked with factual argument so that the topic of management of eye protection can be approached with confidence in providing workers with simple, effective, lightweight, and comfortable eyewear that will also be cost effective. The importance of this chapter cannot be overemphasized.
