ABSTRACT
It is important that any laser user or any personnel assigned duties in a laser environment be aware of the potential hazards that radiation could pose to the eye, the organ most sensitive to the harmful rays of lasers. As in any potentially hazardous environment, these employees should also be informed that medical surveillance will be available to them because such hazards do exist in laser technology.
