ABSTRACT
Pharmacodynamics is the experimental science of the actions and effects of drugs. Pharmacokinetics is the study of the time courses of drug and metabolite amounts and concentrations in biological fluids, tissues, and excreta and also of pharmacologic effects and responses and the construction of models to interpret such data. Models are really not the schematic diagrams we draw, but rather the mathematical equations or set of equations.
