ABSTRACT
Models I through III are the simplest pharmacokinetic models which apply in cases of reversible metabolism at low doses when linear kinetics would be involved. Area under the curve (AUC) relationships are given in Table 3.1, which allow one to make a choice of which of the three models would apply in a particular case. Also, expressions for clearances and other pharmacokinetic parameters are given in Table 3.2.
