ABSTRACT
The aim of this chapter is to investigate the regularity question of hyperbolic mixed problems in the Dirichlet case in order to be able to apply the Hilbert Uniqueness Method introduced in the next chapter. But since this chapter outlines the variational methods for the study of hyperbolic mixed problems, it can be read independently.
