ABSTRACT
The manufacturing, formulation, and processing step (hereafter known as manufacturing) in a life cycle analysis converts the raw materials into final products. This includes on-site storage and handling. The manufacturing step is considered complete when the product is transferred to distribution. All packaging required for the transfer of the product to the first distribution site is considered part of manufacturing.
