ABSTRACT
The literature on the experimental investigation of energy dissipation in composite materials is quite extensive, which is not surprising. The variety of fiber and matrix types, reinforced structures and loading types, as well as the variety of environmental conditions wherein the materials are applied is so wide that the process of accumulation of experimental information on composite dissipation behavior is far from completion.
