ABSTRACT

A newer version of RDA, assembled with a Fortran compiler optimized for Pentium PCs, is supplied with this book. The compiled code included here, which runs in a DOS environment, has been dimensioned to accommodate up to 99 rotor mass stations (396-DOF rotor), making it suitable for virtually any singledrive-line rotor-bearing system, including large steam turbogenerator rotors as subsequently demonstrated in Part 4. The author now uses this newer RDA as the primary rotor vibration analysis tool for troubleshooting work in plants as well as

oped a Windows version of RDA with a graphical user interface that is available directly from him.
