Abstract. We study a controllability problem (exact in the mechanical variables {w, wt] and, simultaneously, approximate in the thermal variable 6) of thermo-elastic plates by means of boundary controls, in both the hinged/Dirichlet, or the clamped/Dirichlet B.C. cases, when the 'thermal expansion' term is variable in space.
