ABSTRACT
This final chapter provides highlights and general notes on several OSH (occupational safety and health) subjects addressed by OSHA. Specific standards are referenced so that the reader can refer to more detailed information and data. The safety officer needs to assess whether the specific functions and workplace environment are subject to certain OSHA standards and regulations. Proper assessments can only be made by performing a detailed safety and risk assessment audit of the operations, worker practices, company policies, and the workplace environment.
