This chapter covers sulphides and selenides not included in Chapters 4 and 5, i.e., all metals except for Zn, Cd, Hg, and Pb. Some of these materials, e.g., the sulphides of Bi, Cu, and Ag and Cu-Se, have been the subject of many investigations. There are others, however, on which as little as one paper has been published altogether.
