ABSTRACT
143This chapter provides a summary of the factors affecting the proper selection of horizontal formwork system. This chapter also presents a tabular comparative analysis of usage and limitations of each of the formwork systems presented in Chapters 3 and 4. An example of a formwork selection problem is also provided to explain how these tables can be used to accurately select the optimum formwork system for the job.
