ABSTRACT
We observed the interesting periodicity which develops in thicker AR coatings as developed in Sec. 1.7.2 in our collaboration with Dobrowolski and Verly1,2. We will now explore some of the principles that relate to the Fourier approach which contribute to the understanding of thin film designs in general and the effect of additional thickness on ARs in particular by empirical and comparative means.
