ABSTRACT
Reliability is accomplished through control of design, materials, techniques, and processes. There are
many applications where reliability is supreme. Programs that demand this type of reliability are
spacecraft, aircraft, missile guidance, and internal medicine. A failure in any one of these programs cannot
be tolerated.
