In this chapter, we begin to study partial differential equations that are not solved relative to the higher-order time-derivative

where L0(Dx) is a quasielliptic operator. As was mentioned in Introduction, such equations appear in applications. In Section 1, we present some examples of equations of the form (0.1) describing physical processes in practice.
