ABSTRACT
The rationale for the inclusion of a chapter covering basic TCP/IP information in a book covering wireless LANs results from the need to understand the configuration and security settings of many wireless products. Because most wireless LAN products are used in a TCP/IP communications environment, the information presented in this chapter should be beneficial to readers.
