ABSTRACT

This chapter elucidates the origin of the solution complexity by examining the left hand side (LHS) terms and right hand side (RHS) terms of the partial differential equation (PDE). The analysis of the LHS terms is implemented in the main program and ordinary differential equation/method of lines routine. The chapter discusses the analysis of RHS terms of the PDE. It also illustrates how the detailed analysis of the LHS and RHS terms of a PDE can be refined to the extent that the contribution of each term can be observed and evaluated.
