ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we consider a systematic approach to determining the validity of a test, that is, how good a test is at measuring what it is supposed to measure as well as general approach to critically appraising research papers reporting on screening or diagnostic test validity. These papers are often featured in critical appraisal examinations.
