ABSTRACT
Having accomplished the major objectives of the monograph, that is, microscales of complex flows and heat and mass transfer models in terms of these scales, we proceed to equilibrium spectra of these flows. This chapter considers only the buoyancy-driven and pulsating flow spectra which are early candidates for experimental interest. The equilibrium spectra of the following turbulent flows are developed: rotating, thermo-capillary driven, reacting, pulsating, and two-phase radiation.
