ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a brief review of some radiative concepts. It develops radiation affected microscales of convection and, in terms of these scales, construct models for radiation affected convective heat transfer. The chapter focuses on radiative stress and qualitative radiation. It discusses radiative heat flux against emission and absorption and absorption and scattering.
