ABSTRACT

Paranasal cancers are a very rare disease in the head and neck region. The failure to have a local control of this locally advanced disease remains a major issue due to its anatomic complexity. Strategies for improving local spread will include advanced surgical options with escalation of radiotherapy using state-of-art facilities, high precision, and advanced techniques of delivery accompanied by concurrent cytotoxic and targeted therapies. The ideal vision of management may be surgery and radiation remains to be defined in the context of contemporary treatment approach designed to achieve optimum locoregional control and organ preservation. This chapter highlights the management for paranasal sinus tumors based on NCCN guidelines.
