ABSTRACT
With 30 years of technical, engineering, leadership and consulting experience Kevin has immense insight into the challenges faced by todays technical professionals. In the first chapter Kevin presents twenty one lessons that he has learned through experience. Some of the lessons are common sense while others were learned the hard way. Every engineer will face each of these topics in one form or another during their career, many of them very early on. Each of the topics are presented in a way that helps the reader reflect on the topic, their own career and situation. The lessons learned will not give specific answers but instead guidance and a reference point to reflect upon.
