ABSTRACT
The ability to analyze a situation, facts, data and the way we are thinking and critically analyzing and processing data while recognizing and filtering, biases, personnel feelings and opinions so that only the facts are processed and utilized to make decisions is a skill set called critical thinking and one that all technical professionals must develop. Critical thinking is a skill set that must be developed, especially in today’s instant information electronically connected society. Critical thinking enables the individual to analyze facts, evidence and arguments for validity, truth and incorrect or illogical elements. This chapter explains what critical thinking is and how the skill can be developed and enhanced.
