Noodle Words went on to be a hit with young children, parents, and teachers. Kids could blow on the microphone to blow the word BLOW across the screen. Swiping the word BUMP left and right made it bump against the edge of the screen. Shaking the screen during DANCE changed the music and the dances of the characters. One favorite response with kids was dragging BUMP near the bugs, who then were surprised to find themselves forced to bump butts while the word was near. One tester, a boy of about eight or nine, had the idea that, while swiping the word BUMP to make it bump the edges of the screen, a little red ball could be randomly floating around. When the ball was in front of a bumpable zone, the word could hit the ball and make it go crazy on-screen.
