ABSTRACT
Generally what comes out of a well is a mixture of oil, water, gas, and even sand. Once crude oil is separated from the gas, it undergoes further treatment steps. An important aspect during oil field development is the design and operation of wet crude handling facilities. Foreign materials such as water and sand must be separated from the oil and the gas before they can be sold. This process is known as oil treating or oil dehydration.
