ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses policies and policy management from the different holistic thinking perspectives (HTPs) because many policies are implemented by large engineering projects (LEPs). In particular, it discusses policies as a system, the different types of policies, the generic policy lifecycle, policy documents and ways of mitigating risks in policies.
