ABSTRACT
The Easter Bunny comes into the GP clinic. He was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and wanted to try and alter his diet in an attempt to control his blood sugar levels. He reports finding this very hard as he finds the temptation of Easter eggs too much to resist. His blood glucose levels are consistently around 17 mmol/L. You decide to prescribe metformin.
