ABSTRACT
A 17-year-old girl doing some work experience on the ward as part of her royal duties presents to the accident and emergency department with a needlestick injury. You are struck by how beautiful she is. She is quite shy and keeps yawning. One of the staff accompanying her tells you that she pricked herself on an old spindle on the ward. On examination she has a small puncture wound on the end of her finger.
