ABSTRACT
After having studied this book, the reader has certainly noticed the wealth of methods proposed to solve a wide range of problems. In this last chapter, we will attempt a provisional summary of this subject of ongoing research, pointing out a few of the bibliographic paths toward the numerous applications of automata networks. But first, it is perhaps appropriate now to comment on the scope of biological models constructed using automata networks, as well as to evaluate their usefulness for applications.
