ABSTRACT
The theory of games is part of decision theory‚ the theory of rational decision-making. In this theory a man is said to have a decision problem if he has to choose one action out of a number of possible ones with a view to its consequences. The theory assumes that he prefers some consequences to others and sees him as trying to identify the action that leads to the most preferred consequence.
