ABSTRACT

Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA) is a novel and the hypothetically impressive technology for executing computing architectures at the nano-scale. The vital Boolean primeval in QCA is the common gate. This chapter presents a novel design for QCA cells and another possible and unconventional scheme for majority gates for automatic detection of the oil spill. In this view, QCA can be exploited to create common determination computational and memory circuits. QCA, therefore, is presumed to accomplish extraordinary scheme extent, actual great clock frequency, and tremendously squat power depletion. QCA algorithm has the ability to determine the optimal number of regions of even small oil spill segmentation or to choose some features such as the size of the analysis window or some heuristic thresholds.
