ABSTRACT

The aim of environmental education is to help people become environmentally aware, knowledgeable, skilled, and dedicated citizens, who can work individually and collectively to defend, improve, and sustain the quality of the environment on behalf of the present and future generations of all living beings. Studying birds is an excellent way to achieve many of the goals of environmental education. Environmental agencies must perform tests to ensure that water is free from microbes, inorganic contaminants, pesticides, herbicides, organic chemical contaminants, and radioactive contaminants. There are many toxins in our environment resulting from production and usage of manufactured consumer products. Lack of resources, degradation of the environment, and violations of human rights due to unjust and unsustainable business practices can create tensions that can escalate into wars. This increased knowledge of the impact of human lifestyles and consumer choices forces everyone in the modern world to consider their actions and impact on the environment.
