ABSTRACT

This chapter explains the significant environmental aspects arising from Indian corporate sector by analysing the sample data collected through questionnaire survey and document analysis. It discusses research design, documentary analysis, semi-structured questionnaire-based interviews, research questions, objectives of the study, hypotheses, and nature of study. The case study research needs to be conducted in a manner that assures maximum measurement reliability and theory validity. The purpose of analysis of documents of non-governmental organizations and corporate is a vital part of this research in context of gaining actual research experiences. Semi-structured interview is a qualitative method of inquiry that combines a pre-determined set of open questions with the opportunity for the interviewer to explore particular themes or responses further. The first questionnaire is structured for carrying out interviews with the top-level management of the concerned company and the second is for studying the perception of different stakeholders.
