ABSTRACT

Cones are one of the curved surfaces creatable with paper. A cone has its line elements concentrated to one point. This chapter presents how to fold and utilize shapes that have a cone. take a look at the development of a general cone. A cone is created from a sector of a circle. Cut out a sector and roll it up so that the angle becomes the tip of the cone. Paste two straight sides to form a cone as in the photo. The central angle of the sector determines the cone’s vertex angle (at the tip). A sector-shaped cutout quickly makes a cone. A 60-degree vertex angled cone is made from the sector with a 180-degree central angle. Joining two copies of this pattern makes the central angle 360 degrees. Four identical partial cones are laid out toward the center, and their curves are connected into a whirl. Folding at a large angle formed this flower-like shape.
