ABSTRACT

This book is a general review of veterinary dermatology in a case-based format. The book reviews the most common skin diseases encountered in clinical practice. I have tried hard to include the most common skin diseases, and a few obscure ones that a clinician will encounter from time to time. It is not within the scope of this book to review every skin disease in detail. If more information is needed on a particular disease or some aspect of it, the reader is referred to the latest edition of the Textbook of Small Animal Dermatology (DW Scott, WH Miller, C Griffin [eds]. WB Saunders, Philadelphia).
