ABSTRACT

This chapter looks at what is interesting and important about healthcare professionals and their current and potential contribution to the world. It provides healthcare professionals' special gifts and talents, and where and to whom they are important. The same is true of talents and abilities. If someone has a talent for something, they'll often discount it as unimportant, assuming that everyone has it. If a quality or talent isn't used, it won't develop. Some qualities are innate and some are acquired, but even a Stradivarius violin needs to be picked up and played for its qualities to be realised. The being then placed healthcare professionals on earth at exactly the right time, in exactly the right body and in exactly the right circumstances for them to fulfil that role.
