ABSTRACT

The studies of correlations between the characteristics of oligomers of the polymers based on them, known from the literature, are predominantly of a qualitative nature and are for the most part devoted to the analysis of the influence exerted by the oligomer structure its Mn on the physico-chemical, physico-mechanical properties of linear cross-linked polymers based on this oligomer. Theoretical and experimental studies of these relationships have resulted in the conclusion that FTD plays an important part in forming the properties of the final polymeric product. From the practical point of view, of greatest interest is the study of the effect produced by the initial oligomer FTD on the kinetic parameters of the process and the physico-mechanical properties of the end polymeric product obtained on its basis. In conclusion it should be noted that the calculated data show a qualitative agreement with the basic experimental conclusions regarding, influence of the initial oligomer MWD and FTD on the characteristics of the product.
