ABSTRACT
This is an unlikely OSCE station, but one that ought to be covered in limited detail. Otoscopy is the use of a light source and small speculum to examine the external ear and ear canal, up to the tympanic membrane. It is a simple procedure, but one that should be practised in order to demonstrate competence.
