ABSTRACT
In most countries, especially those with advanced economies and relatively sophisticated medical services, poisoning with medicinal compounds is common. In many such countries, poisoning with therapeutic substances exceeds deaths from other types of toxic agents, especially in suicidal and accidental poisoning.
