ABSTRACT
This chapter illustrates the integral representation of the Lanczos polynomial of the second kind by using the combination of Lanczos algorithm and the Padé approximant. The Lanczos algorithm and the Padé approximant have also been combined in other research fields, e.g. in computational and applied mathematics, as well as in engineering via circuit theory. The Lanczos algorithm and the Padé approximant are rederived into the Padé–Lanczos approximant also called as Padé via Lanczos method.
